Peace.... let's love the world to peace.....

PEACE AND FREEDOM

Peace it comes not from a gun, it is an inner call
To have and hold from this day forth, it is within us all

For freedom too, it's the result of such sweet inner peace
Let's take a hold and be so bold, it's time for such release

The dove, the symbol of that love and peace for us to be
It's gentleness of hope and joy flies in our sanctuary

This sanctuary the sacred place with gentle flame of light
Within ourselves this flame of hope is ever burning bright

Let's shine our light of peace and joy forever to mankind
The truth that sets us free from all the chaos let us find

Let's end the past of war and hate and join the march of love
Tis onward, upward, t'wards the light that's shining from above

To light the way to bring us all to one in harmony
With olive branch and love for all there's peace so let it be

The peace which passes understanding now is understood
Experienced by everyone who wishes that it could

So let the dove of peace break out from all our sanctuaries
Let's flood the world with such a love beyond the birds and bees

Freedom then and trust and joy will be no longer hidden
The world will be at One at last no longer to be bidden

So let's create the perfect world, a paradise at best
So let it be, let's celebrate for it will manifest

O Peace, O Peace what joy you bring when all begin to laugh
To see the joke we've lived each day, believed on your behalf

The gun is gone, the wars are o'er, for peace is now prevailing
The world is one at last, at last, it is no longer ailing

So peace is our's, now it's time - no longer to pretend
The Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end

HEART OF PEACE EVERLASTING

The heart of peace everlasting
is the place of divine unity
the hope which we carry within us each day
'tis the hope for all humanity

For long we've been walking as pilgrims
searching our way in the dark
but somehow the journey's returning us home
to the heart of the Creator's spark

Exploding at last into full flame
this light that's the gift of the One
in wholeness we see our full beauty displayed
created just as we begun

For here is the home we've been searching
we can now rest in peace so divine
for the union with God at last now is ours'
so drink in the joy of the wine

With hope in the heart as we walk now
with this we are never alone
with full heart of peace everlasting
the pilgrims have found their way home

PEACE

Life is experiencing
our thoughts, deeds and words
fulfilling creation
we fly like the birds
in freedom we learn that
as God we are ONE
'tis all the same story
for everyONE
purely experience
the soul absolute
its cosmic intentions
no one can refute
for therein is peace
beyond where we've been
there's tangible evidence
of heaven - our dream
the peace which does pass
all understanding
we're moving there fast
with conscious expanding
enlightenment abides
in the heart and the soul
all's calm and accepting
at last we are whole
the presence of Oneness
is such sweet release
for here is the essence
of such perfect peace

Purely Experience Ab-soul-ute Cosmic Enlightenment

TEMPLE OF GIVING

A temple of giving
in the world of the living
a place of much comfort and peace
where quiet reflection
and much circumspection
can give one such joyful release

The hustle and bustle
of life with its tussle
can make one become very fraught
this temple then soon is
the place where one does biz
for there one unlearns what's been taught

For soon one does realise
the value of real eyes
and ears that truly do hear
this temple does offer
a wonderful coffer
where love does surpass all one's fear

This temple of giving
in the world of the living
is one's own sacred space deep inside
no more need to wander
over wild blue yonder
one's own home's the place to reside

This place of reflection
for inner inspection
so pure is this temple of giving
this place so serene
for a king and a queen
is right for the world of the living

BEAUTY OF WAR

The beauty of war
with all its
fear and hatred
death and destruction
selfishness and greed
anger and arrogance
sorrow and grief
is the opportunity
it provides us to see
the stupidity and
pointlessness of it all
and to know, thank God
there is another way
waiting to be embraced

The way is love
only love through
kindness and tolerance
cooperation and understanding
and a willingness to live
side by side with one's
fellow humankind
as brothers and sisters
helping each other
by caring and sharing

Acknowledging too that
"My Way" may not be
the right way for others
and thus accepting
and allowing others
to have the intelligence
to choose responsibly
for themselves

I may not agree with
their choices and they
may not agree with mine
but with non-judgment
I can see that my brothers
and sisters are walking
their paths in freedom
just as I am

The opportunity too
to grow as individuals
and a human race
by changing one's outlook
and claiming the power
inherent within us and
using it for the good of all

O bliss that humanity
has the provision
for such opportunity
to move beyond war
and ascend to the heights
inherent in the beauty
of peace and love

RIVER DEEP, MOUNTAIN HIGH

River deep valleys
mountain high peaks
while grand and majestic
also place before us
the contrasts of life
which serve to enlighten
to help us reflect
on different choices
when made with discernment
encourage one to
move toward the peace
of rolling hills and
gentle vales through love
cooperation, understanding
caring, sharing, kindness
a willingness to let go
of past differences
the need to be right
by making others wrong
and seeing all as equal
despite circumstances
beliefs, culture, wealth
to see the big picture
knowing that we are all
part of the whole
rather than separate
from each other and
thus it's far better
to live in harmony
and the peace of
unity and oneness

THE WALL

Over the wall the sun does shine
a golden glow that's so divine
the desire to be this golden sun
is strong enough to will each one

Atop the wall which Humpty sat
from there one sees a view like that
n'er seen before till this New Day
when Love Divine is on display

While Humpty falls down off the wall
and breaks to bits 'cos of his fall
instead 'tis best the bricks to break
the wall falls down for Heaven's sake

At One at last with Love Divine
which like the sun does shine and shine
now peace within, without, around
because the wall came tumbling down

THIS TOO SHALL SURELY PASS

"This too shall surely pass"
the Buddha he did say
embracing this I do conclude
there's no need for dismay

For what we see before us now
it soon will disappear
and in its place will be the peace
of which we hold so dear

The principle of this it is
the focus of one's mind
so peace and love, one's heart's desire
and this we'll surely find

Still are we and know that be
creator powers within
as image of the One of life
created thus begin

All of life a passing phase
live it now with love
ascending now to life anew
it fits just life a glove

Oneness all is this new life
all perfect harmony
beauty of Eternal Soul
now there for all to see

FIT FOR PURPOSE

Like a home in ruins
where chaos reigns
restoration needed
to make one
fit for purpose

That purpose be love
pure and chaste
still and serene
soulful, eternal
in joy and peace

Rejuvenated, restored
fully resurrected
love flows freely
through all life
now fit for purpose

REST IN PEACE

It's time now to rest
so in peace ever still
the work it is done
so now be tranquil

In silence give thanks
for in transit are we
from past now to present
such goodness to see

With calmness be present
experience all life
within and without
as no longer is strife

In resting is pleasure
there's peace now at last
so rest in its presence
enjoy the contrast

Forever is always
a life lived as one
rest in its peace then
and follow the sun

BE THE CALM CENTRE

Be the calm centre
in midst of the storm
whatever life throws you
do not be forlorn

In stillness be centred
be clear and true
decisively be in
the centre of you

In calmness and stillness
with chaos all round
such virtues of value
are ever profound

For life has a way of
pendulum swings
so being in balance
helps one's heart to sing

In all of the chaos
as peace manifests
more and more be
in the calmness of rest

BORN TO BE CALM

Born to be calm, tranquil, serene
most beautiful sight e'er to be seen
honour, respect, gentleness, tolerance
equality, oneness, so perfect in balance

Soulfully being while doing one's deeds
all the above does brotherhood breed
qualities passive in action bring peace
and such is desirous to see our release

Into the chaotic bring quiet and calm
and sure will be seen all bathed in a balm
then from all the chaos is order created
this change will see Gandhi's memory feted

So be the change that you want to see
all round the planet be kind is my plea
that is the way all will be overcome
calmness and peace is for everyone

HEAVEN ON EARTH

Heaven on earth
be still and know
let go of the past
and go with the flow

On earth as in heaven
the peace everlasting
beyond understanding
the perfect contrasting

In stillness and quiet
experience the One
serene and so tranquil
renewal begun

The now is eternal
ongoing rebirth
arising to newness
'tis heaven on earth

A PLACE OF PEACE

A peaceful place
within us all
the place to start
'tis nature's call

for us to find
this inner space
no longer life
is lived at pace

instead we take
the time to be
within ourselves
our sanctuary

this holy place
for us to dwell
our home divine
where all is well

a place serene
so calm and still
a tranquil home
receive one's fill

where peace is all
and all is peace
a place divine
such sweet release

we go within
where noise does cease
and all is calm
a place of peace

C'MON LET'S HUG

C'mon lets hug the world
Pour love into its core
In doing this one cannot miss
A whole new world to fore

C'mon let's hug the world
Love it from your heart
Then there will be for all to see
A joyous song at last

C'mon let's hug the world
Be a shining light
That glows as gold in being bold
That makes the globe so bright

C'mon let's hug the world
And all the life thereon
Turning night into the day
For all to smile upon

C'mon let's hug the world
In doing this we'll see
A happy home
On which to roam
Here then doth end my plea

DOVE OF LOVE

Loving softly in
Sweet light serene
And tranquil coolness
Yet a bursting of joy
Buoyant in knowing
As love finds the way -
Freely expressing
Itself as eternal now
Secure in kindly being
A sweet dove singing
With softness touching
The soul; stroking
With tenderness,
Uplifting, encouraging
the beloved union of
Soul with self as one
A peace never before
But now is the calm
Reality of being
The dove of love.

THE OLIVE BRANCH

An olive branch seems to be
Shaping a beauty of peace
In our world of hope and love
Extending hands and limbs
Beyond borders and boundaries
Uplifting in the process of
Carrying with it a message
That all is becoming more
And more as it can and could
Peace, that effervescent flame
Of hope that understanding
Is at last getting messaged
Everywhere, within and without
Providing a picture of smiles
In the hearts and minds
Of all souls knowing that
Caring and sharing of love
Brings a ray of contentment
Serenity and calmness and
Respect and honour of all
Including self pervades

WORLD IN YOUR HANDS

The future is happening now
Each moment of each day
As we think we create
What are we creating?
More of the same?
Or a paradise of peace
A joyful home of love
The world is in your hands
The world is in my hands
Let the brotherhood and
Sisterhood create a chain
Of love and peace and joy
Through cooperative acts
Sharing of resources
Honour and respect
Empowering self and
Others to likewise move
More and more together
In the name of Oneness
May peace and love reign

RINGS AROUND THE WORLD

Let us ring the world with love
And songs of hope and joy
And peace and kindness everywhere
At last it is employed
Circles of love are everywhere
Lighting up the earth
Bright stars shining evermore
Wonders of new birth

Smile awhile with joyous grin
All faces beaming bright
And hug with hearts of gratitude
This love it shines the light
Give with hearts unlimited
And thankfully receive
Share and care cooperatively
And poverty reprieve

Resources of our Mother Earth
She gives without condition
Yet now she's asking us to live
A very new position
We are our Mother's caretaker
Yet we take and not give back
She wishes us to know that she
Wishes no more slack

So let us now begin to see
That love's the only way
No more questions then are there
A new world on its way
Let us ring the world with love
And songs of hope and joy
And peace and kindness everywhere
At last it is employed

THE COMMON WEALTH

The wealth of the common people
The common wealth of all
No more the rich and poor divide
Abundantly share it all

Take enough for self then see
The brotherhood of man
Develop as it cares and shares
Expanding as it can

The dream of many caring folk
Is all on earth are One
Imagined daily such will be
And then will see the fun

Far and wide to yonder shores
The wealth is distributed
Poverty is history now
This cannot be disputed.

Resources of dear Mother Earth
No longer being flouted
With love for all our fellow man
And self of course no doubt

Share and care cooperatively
And all will come of age
Custodians with gentle touch
The world becomes the sage

Time goes by and all are One
Longtime dream comes true
All are rich in heart and mind
The wealth a common brew

The mindset now is one to boast
For peace and love prevail
Common wealth of all at last
The world no longer ails.

LET US BEAR ARMS

Hugging it seems
A wise thing to behove
So let us bear arms
With bullets of love
Wrapping them round
Each one like a glove

Hugging it seems
Is the order of the day
People are dreaming
Of this wonderful way
Of bringing the world
Into fullness of play

So let's all begin
Through freedom of choice
The arms that we bear
Will see us rejoice
Let's hug everywhere
See a world of One Voice

ONE WORLD

A new world is forming
The new day is here
A globe with no nations
We can go anywhere

A world without borders
Free movement around
As brotherhood flourishes
A peace so profound

Imagine this being
As John Lennon said
Where everyone loves
And the old order dead

All cultures respected
And creeds understood
At last there is harmony
We're out of the woods

No borders or boundaries
At last we are free
We're all global citizens
That's you and that's me

One world we are now
And such joyful living
Much sharing and caring
And generous giving

Poverty now history
This wondrous new order
A global environment
Without any borders
