ROCK POOL VILLAGE
As I pulled my curtains back this early Sunday morn
before my eyes a tide wide out and sea a glistening dawn
the rocks beneath the currents strong revealed for all to see
the pools their life a stunning mass of species living free
Each just being who they are and getting on with life
in harmony they live their being free of any strife
the crabs and limpets, many fish so small one needs a 'scope
to view the life in rock pool village full of faith and hope
All the life within the pools that's bounded by the rocks
lives a life of gratitude for time it ticks and tocks
for soon the sea will cover them as in the ebb and flow
the tide comes in again and to the bottom they do go
So let's live life upon our earth like just like these species do
in unity and harmony - as One yet Many too
each different yet the same we are - it's time to get along
before we find our earthly home's abandoned all her throng
The tide comes in, the tide goes out, just like the breath of life
our chaos is reordering with love becoming rife
so just like rock pool village where all's in harmony
now is the opportunity for love so let it be

GLORY TO JASMINE
A sweet-scented fragrance pervades on the breeze
from the gardens of life cross the way
its time once again for the jasmine to share
its beauty by night and by day
When walking the lanes one's nose tends to rise
as the fragrance it wafts from nearby
one walks with a smile enjoying the moment
knowing more jasmine's closeby
The delicacy of its white flowers to view
such gentleness noticed afar
a splendid display on a June summer's day
and a nose like the wine of a star

GOD'S SMILE
Did you see God smile today
when walking 'long life's quiet way?
the wings of nature had her say
on high, perfection on display

A WANDERIN' STAR
A wanderin' star was burning bright
upon my birth deep in the night
which magnified my destiny
to live a life where I was free
To come and go where'er I please
a smile, a laugh, a life of ease
no restrictions 'pon my way
my life be free by night and day
'Tis time again for wanderin'
instead of just a'ponderin'
to pack my stuff upon my back
and sleep each night on my rucksack
Like they did when travellin' west
in painted wagons all abreast
yet for me 'tis best alone
for happy be when on my own
My heart it feels a restlessness
desires to live in timelessness
to wander free and move afar
to reconnect with my birth star

FALL INTO WINTER
Fall is upon us as cool days express
trees in the vales they prepare to undress
slowly a shimmer of gold does reveal
an Autumn meandering to Christ's winter meal
Early the season of Fall is this year
reflecting the changes within us we steer
renewal abounds in each moment, each day
as we journey the path of Eternal Highway
Letting the flow of the days pass on by
as winds do their work with the leaves as they fly
time to observe all the changes in place
many's the colours all over the place
A beauty profound beyond that seen in Spring
or Summer or Winter; each doing their thing
for Fall is the time of a perfect release
preparing the place of a quiet Winter peace
Time is approaching to quietly retreat
into the depths by the fireside to meet
one's inner being where's found such great love
the heart of the One which fits all like a glove
In silent reflection of Winter's provision
a space to consider some timely revision
of life as a journey of love deeply felt
in the heart of the One, one surely does melt
Soulful and tranquil, so gratefully being
in such deep contentment it is really freeing
for now in this time of renewal one brings
a pure transformation in time for the Spring

RETURN OF THE WILD
Such splendour awaits the return of the wild
whose freedom expresses the heart of the child
in wide open spaces where nothing's restricted
perfection of nature's a picture depicted
Wild flowers bloom like a bright Persian carpet
and animals know they are free of the market
forests are lush in their jungle-like green
and out-back's red dust paints the sun-sets a dream
No more are there gardens and lawns manicured
nor parklands in cities for feet pedicured
no more exploitation of dear Mother Earth
instead all's renewed through a state of rebirth
A wilderness now is whose beauty surrounds us
no matter the view for the joy it confounds us
like a new babe in arms all's so pure and serene
as all has been washed now and made squeaky clean
The whole is so new with the wild's return
the view so magnificent it makes one's heart burn
with love ever tender for dear Mother Gaia
all hearts now are rendered of dross by the fire
Life in the wild is raw and chaotic
yet better by far than being neurotic
the cities are gone and the mountains supreme
so now like the wildlife we're living the dream

SPRING INTO SUMMER
Spring into summer with joy and delight
a meadow of flowers and hay golden bright
long twilight days of sunset reflection
swimming the waves on the shores of perfection
With spring in the step and a lightness of heart
summer is here, let it never depart
all days are warm now as hearts open wide
with freedom to be where the flowers abide
The magic of life on the hilltops with view
when light of the day gives each a good clue
that this is the way now that life should be led
with sunrise and sunset and all o'erhead
Are blue skies and clouds that just keep passing by
relaxing we contemplate as we do seek why
it's not always been magic summers of peace
where days are so awesome and worries now cease
Let's flow in the breeze of a light summer's day
and be as the flowers and our beauty display
with laughter and fun we can now rejoice
and sing summer's song in a heavenly voice

THE SPIRIT OF SPRING
The spirit of spring
the marriage of souls
love's magic moments
the mystery unfolds
Seeing with awe
through child-like eyes
wide open to presence
enthralled by surprise
Awakening to beauty
from such a deep sleep
the long winter's over
there's spring-time to reap
Eyes beaming brightly
a heart like the sun
warming all new life
there's growth to be done
Each moment is joyful
the voices they sing
like birds in the treetops
'tis the spirit of spring

THE RITE OF SPRING
The rite of spring
the perfect thing
to end the dark
so to embark
upon the road
to new abode
where one can be
so free to see
that all's anew
in rainbow hue
with coloured flowers
and April showers
and trees a dream
all dressed in green
lambs and kitts
and young blue tits
for life is thirsting
newness bursting
the perfect thing
the rite of spring

SONG OF SPRING
The song of spring
with birds on wing
and all is evergreen
Trees and flowers
and April showers -
nature's music scene
The song of spring
the one to sing -
a tuneful melody
Around the earth
explodes new birth;
the joy of flying free
The song of spring
when everything
takes on a wondrous glow
Life it glistens -
it's time to listen
to the perfect flow
The song of spring
when new life brings
a joy and ecstasy
For all around
are new life sounds
and peace and harmony

WINTER WONDERLAND
The snow it fell one starry night
Upon the ground so green
And suddenly the joy of white
Forever could be seen
A winter wonderland was formed
A vista so serene
The sky so blue and ground so white
So pure and so pristine
This wonderland of magic white
A perfect view afar
As day turned night the moon shone bright
As well the evening star
The moon and star they glistened on
This magic wonderland
Reflecting on the snowy ground
God's glory shown to man
The sun it rose on perfect white
Which soon began to melt
The wonderland of white soon gone
But in the heart was felt
God's hand was seen so far and wide
A pure and perfect show
A love protecting everything
Did glow and glow and glow
Imagine then this wonderland
Such beauty bound in love
Now lived by everyone of us
Led by God above
A winter wonderland of white
The seasonal return
As it glistens so please listen
Then no longer yearn

O ROWAN TREE
O rowan tree on winter's green
Reaching tall with arms so high
Adoring life in all its splendour
Bare essentials showing sky
Rowan tree outside my window
On a knoll so higher still
Come the spring a leafy green
Once more will be my pleasure-fill
O rowan home to little ones
Carefully sheltered from the cold
Faeries, elves and many more
Hiding yet are known as bold
O rowan tree on winter's green
Branches tall in winter hue
Waiting patiently for cover
Meantime naked in my view
Morning winter mist does shroud
Yet the sun on you doth glisten
As you stand in proud surrender
To the world you seem to listen
While as naked wonder being
Sunlight filters through my pane
O dear rowan I wait as you
New birth wonder spring refrain

EARTH RISE
Earth she is rising
This is so true
So let's help her do so
And seeing the view
It's time for us now
To take hold of our life
And flow with the river
Let go of strife
Step off the shore
Let go of the reigns
Move to the middle
No longer restrain
Instead just be free
And trust and surrender
Doing this one sees
A heart that is rendered
As One with the Earth
We are rising too
A joyous reunion
Such wondrous view
New birth is happening
Now is the time
A magical moment
So right is the clime
Earth she is rising
So no longer in wait
She's moving on forward
She's opened the gate
The choice it is our's
And with her we go
Now is the time
To go with the flow

ESSENCE OF THE SUN
A fire burns deep inside of us
A gentle flame of light
The essence of the sun this is
Its power gives us our might
The essence of the blazing sun
It shines its light of day
When we turn and face its light
It then shows us the way
Back home to where the truth doth lie
Deep within our soul
The essence of the sun becomes
The means to make us whole
Its burning core reflects our own
Potential roaring fire
So set our flame ablaze and burn
Away the dross and mire
Reach deep, become the One we are
And thus have always been
Bring peace and love and joy and then
The essence is the dream
A blazing sun and fiery light
Walking on the earth
Potential reached, at last is seen
The whole One as its worth
Then too the sun it also has
A gentle flame of light
That touches like a butterfly
As the moon that lights the night
The essence of the sun then can
Be gentle or ablaze
Potential then is balancing
The burning clears the haze
A fire burns deep inside of us
A gentle flame of light
The essence of the sun this is
Its power gives us our might
COOPERATIVE LIVING
Cooperation is
The order of the day
Working together
Sharing, caring
Looking out for,
As brother and sister
All Life, as One
A world in harmony
Peace, love and joy
Global brother and
Sisterhood uniting
Into a new world order
No borders, boundaries
These are redundant
No grabbing, grasping
Owning, possessing
Greed, war.. no more
Instead, sharing
Caring, trusting
Loving, giving
Working side by side
Encouraging, uplifting
Freely sharing all with all
Just imagine a world
Living cooperatively

THE OUTLOOK TODAY
The shimmering golden light
Of the sun rises to the occasion
An opalescent crystal sheen
A beautiful new day has dawned
The wind gently blows through
The pampas fronds outside my door
Whispering sweet nothings
In their ears
The short green grass
Has a mellow touch
A hue of mystery
As the last scattered leaves
From the virginia creeper
Scamper joyfully across its carpet
The voluminous clouds, many grey
Suggest rain today
But is matters not
For rain, hail or shine,
Gales, snow or storm
The outlook today, everyday
Is magic

THE SUN OF GOD
Moses and the burning bush
Symbolises the burning desire
Within us all, realised or not
To gather truth and become whole
Moses returned from the mountain
Glowing as the sun's rays
He was on fire with Truth of being
Which he desired to share with others
Yet they were more concerned
With idols and material representations
Of God and wholeness.
In Truth, that was fine because
Moses experienced for himself
The truth within and as such
He was not responsible for
Others' journeys.
Glowing like the sun
He experienced the Sun/Radiance
Of God in full magnification
He was under no obligation to
Prove to others his experience
He was only charged with
Living the experience
Through example of being
The Sun of God/dess is our opportunity
Of being as Moses and others were
In full and complete being
The truth of who we are
This is our core, this is our being
The core of our being, the Sun of God

DAY & NIGHT, NIGHT & DAY
The sun it rises daily
Its energies it gives
It rises high to midday
Its power from this we live
The afternoon more pensive
The energies still warm
In preparation for the night
The sunset beauty forms
The moon it rises nightly
Its shape tells us its phase
So deep within our being
Our inner soul is raised
As the dawn approaches
The energies of moon
Do seem to draw us to her
We seem much more in tune
Another sun approaches
The night turns into day
Rising once again so bright
To light us on our way
We go about our business
Yet warmed each day are we
Golden light of sun be our's
Radiance we be
Another night, another moon
Our beauty she reflects
Along with all the starry lights
The night sky this perfects
The sun, the moon, the starry hue
A symphony of love
As we evolve to higher plain
As cosmos up above
The spiral gains a higher twirl
As night and day repeat
The energies of sun and moon
Bring us from our retreat
Moving forward more in tune
A harmony is seen
This is the way that life should be
Our freedom we do glean
We rise and set just like the sun
With moon we feel whole
The stars they twinkle like our eyes
The windows of our soul.
Day and night and night and day
The cycle does unfurl
We continue on the journey
The dance of life a twirl

THE CALL OF THE SEA
The call of the sea
To you and me
We are one, and the sea
Our home.. why?
Mermaids, mermen
Water - the origin of life
The sea, our home
Calls us to return. come
Come to me, it says
The sea, salt pillar
Tall standing
Yet flowing
Tide and song
In tune with planets
Harmonically major
Musically expressing
The call... the sea says:
Come to me, come to me
Why? Would I drown myself?
No.. no.. no.. all is well
Open up the gills of pisces
The mermaid within
Swims deep, so deep
Actively desiring
Aquarius expression
The feminine power
Gentle, serene, calm
Not weak, but strong
Let it be, let it be
Manifest it now.
Sacredly pure
Sacred joy
Sacred love
Divine
The call, flowing
Moving with grace
The call of the sea

STARS
I look out at night
At the stars shining bright
And my yearn to return
Sees my inner world burn
A star seed or star
No matter we are
The cosmos a part
So makes us all smart
Oh dear Milky Way
You never do sway
A part of our galaxy
I feel so relaxy
And I smile
All the while
As I see all the twinkling
Forever an inkling
One day to return
No longer a yearn
I'm this star tonight
'Cos it's wink is so bright
Tomorrow 'tis that one
It's smile sure is such fun
So as I look out
I give up a shout
To the stars in the sky
I give thanks upon high
For their sparkling delight
To all from great heights.

GOLDEN LIGHT OF THE SUN
The golden light of the sun
Warms us with its love
Shining down upon us as
We go about our daily lives
Yet too, there is wonder
That within that golden light
Is truth that we too reflect
The glory, the power
The goodness of the sun
The glorious golden light
Penetrates deep within our hearts
Lighting our inner flame of hope
And peace, joy and honour
So that we can move forth
Enveloping all in our path
With the golden light of the sun

OH SUN O' MINE

Oh sun o' mine, lighting the world
Filling it with radiant warmth
So that all who live on Mother Earth
Have peace and love and hope
Oh sun 'o mine, illuminating our hearts
So that we too can be in tune
As lights of the world sharing
And caring for each soul with love
Oh sun o'mine, power behind all life
Joyfully smiling down with care
On trees and nature, creatures all
Lovingly warming the heart
Oh sun o' mine, on this solstice day
Thanks are given to you for sharing
Your glory and fire through your
Steadfastness of being always

OH MOON O' MINE

Oh moon o' mine, so in tune
With the sun at this solstice time
Midsummer union of silver and gold
A marriage made in heaven
Oh moon o' mine, a silvery hue
Of gentle calm and serenity
Cool wonder lighting the path
To the coming of the new day
Oh moon o' mine, magical beam
That kisses the lips of maidens
Uniting in harmony with life
In the light of a new tomorrow
Oh moon o' mine, thanks be
For mystery unfolding in a hue
Of love and understanding
Midsummer moon - honey moon

SERENITY
Lady Swan all dressed in white
Sight serene of magic floating
On waters smooth and yet so cool
No need there is for her a'gloating
The queen of self is Lady Swan
Moving gently and so calm
Lightly treading underneath
Washing over all with balm
Lady light is sweet serene
Tenderly tempting wonder
A goddess so beautiful
Quietly tearing all asunder
Lady Serenity as beauty being
Dressed in white of purity
Innocence a magic hue
Exhibiting humility
In full acceptance of herself
She breathes out a quiet sigh
Knowing all be as it should
Lady Swan serene on high

A TASTE OF HONEY
A taste of honey
Soul food extraordinaire
Golden elixir flowing
Sweetness of air
A taste so gentle
Soothing heart & mind
Feelings of lightness
Ever so kind
A taste so sweet
Absorbing its whole
Honey waxing lyrical
Goodness of soul
A taste of liquid
Gold from the bee
Encouraging harmony
All so to be

SUN, MOON AND STARS
The sun is shining rays of warmth
Deep into the soul
From there its rays of love reach out
Embracing in the fold
The moon it beams its magic silk
And brightens up the night
It soothes with its serenity
Each soul within its sight
The stars they wink at each of us
As we look into their eyes
They shine and twinkle magically
Each soul to harmonise
The sun and moon and stars on high
Are all the shining presence
Of One we each so joyfully
Acknowledge as our essence

BALANCE - FLAMINGO STYLE
Tongue in cheek
I use my beak
To check the line
That all is fine
I then begin
And from within
I find the call
That takes my all
To lift my leg
Look like a peg
Then fall asleep
To earn my keep
Balance natural
No collateral
Mum's the word
'Tis always heard
So copy me
And all will be

QUEEN BEE
She is the Queen of honey hive
Many cells which are alive
Rendering life of love so sweet
As honey for us all to eat
Queen Bee is honoured and respected
Wholly loved and so accepted
Workers hover at her call
Creating honey for us all
As memories deeper they are stirring
Honey bees they are a'whirring
Beaver-like they work for Bee
The one revered eternally
For many eons denied has been
Queen Bee as sacred; now is seen
At last becoming to full view
The veil no longer hides her hue
Queen Bee the sacred in us callin'
Adored, revered, no longer fallen
Revealing self as love supreme
The holy grail is now redeemed
'Tis not out there or over yonder
No longer time for us to ponder
But joyously reveal our Queen
The sacred Bee, she now is seen

EROS ROSE
Eros rising
Greek myth
On magic high
Pure and sweet
Breathing tenderly
Remembering before
As now moving, being
In newness, warmth of
Sun and crystal sea
Mediterranean blue
Rhodes ancient yet
History a yonder cloud
Now love and happiness
Laughter and memories
Sweet song of newness
With hearts dancing
To music of wonder
Roses flowering love
Eros rose on Rhodes

MY WORD
My word is earth
Anchoring and
Supporting life
Caring, sharing
Beauty & wonder
My word is air
Breathing in, out
Peace and hope
For all; here, there
And everywhere
My word is water
Flowing, caressing
All in passing
Slowly or rushing
To ocean's oneness
My word is fire
Regenerating
Renewing all
As a new day
Of infinite love

APRIL IN MARCH
The sun's rays glistened
On the sea beyond
A new day rising.
The storm clouds
Billowed afar,
Their grey magnificence
Threatening a show
Of magic light.
Little shoots, new growth
On hedges and bushes.
New life appearing.
At my feet the daffodils
Golden yellow,
With trumpets sounding
The call of spring
From above came
Hailstones of white
Pattering the path
Landing so gently
All around.
This is April in March

CLOUDS
The little cloud
Zipping happily
On zephyrs light
Looks for its mother,
White and fluffy
Floating silently
Drifting on breezes gentle
Then father appears
A little grey and stern
Concerned perhaps
For his little cloud
A family of clouds
Sharing each their way
Of being themselves
Each for us to see
The beauty of a cloud
In its treasure chest
Of sky blue

SNOWFLAKE MAGIC
The snowflake
Magic, pure, crystal-like,
Appears before my eyes
It drifts and dances
Down to the ground
Its joy so evident
Its happiness so childlike
As it settles softly..
Then it is no more.
Or is it... it is still there
In different form....
More snowflakes
Brothers and sisters of the first
Each uniquely different
So crystal, so pure,
Laughing as they play with the wind
Joyfully swirling closer
To nothingness? Or were they?
The purity of the moment
So short and sweet
From birth to death
No - not death....
Change...
To new life
A different one,
Birth, then joyful living...
Freedom to be
Then change
To new life once again,
New form, different
Unique, beautiful
The snowflake
Many snowflakes
Experimenting with life
Joyfully moving through
Changes, one to another
Uniquely whole in themselves
Yet together creating harmony
Forming a white carpet of purity
Which melts away to new form
New life, once more.
Snowflake magic.

The snake..it slithers by
On sand it leaves its mark
Quietly, with ease and grace.
The snake.. in silence
Fearlessly, it sheds
Its skin.. new, reborn.
The snake, often despised,
Frequently feared, but never
Bothered nor concerned.
The snake..continues on
Being the snake and -
Quietly, it once again,
Releases all and is -
Reborn in all its glory.

THE SOFTNESS OF THE BUTTERFLY
The softness of the butterfly
This it shares
With you and I
It gently touches
You and I
As it tranforms its surroundings
Flittering from flower to flower
You and I
It softly lands, deposits its love
Then moves on to the next one
You and I
So softly it touches
So gently too
